The Korean smartphone maker Samsung, has
launched another budget android smartphone in India, the Galaxy Music Duos. The dual SIM device is up for pre-order at Samsung’s online store
for Rs.9,199 while another online retailer Snapdeal has listed the
device for a fairly lesser amount of Rs.8,999.

This is an entry level smartphone
running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. An 850 MHz processor coupled
with 512MB of RAM powers the device and the Galaxy Music Duos features a
3-inch LCD display that as a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The
smartphone also comes with 4GB of internal storage space which can be
extended by up-to 32GB using a Micro SD card.
The Galaxy Music Duos supports dual sim
cards (GSM+GSM) and houses a 3 megapixel camera. There’s no Flash or a
front camera on the device. To keep the phone up and running for long,
there’s a 1,300 mAh batery. The phone also comes with all the standard
connectivity options such as 3G, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
Since this budget smartphones is
targeted at music lovers, Samsung has included two front speakers and a
dedicated music key on this device and it also boasts of Sound Alive and
SRS audio technologies.
