Hackers attack on Chinese govt. websites!

It is being reported that a hacker under the name “code hacker” has hacked and defaced over 400 Chinese government websites. The report first appeared on HackRead and said the hacker belongs to the (in)famous Pakistani hacker group, the ‘Pakistan Cyber Army’.
The hacker, first defaced the official website of Xuchang City People’s Procuratorate by posting his group’s signature over there and later, went on to post similar signatures on the sub-domains of the website.
The website, which belongs to the administration of Xuchang City, faced similar attacks from an Indonesian hacker back in 2010 and was hacked last month too, on November 29.
According to ZDnet, some McAfee executives told the website in an interview that the governments in the Asia-Pacific region might face more of such attacks in the times to come. According to them, a major reason behind this was the evolving IT laws in the region, some of which might not go down well with the public, who might turn to such ways to show their dissent.
After the hack, the hacker even pasted the list of the 437 breached websites on the information sharing site PasteBin.
